I think I'll give Infamous Fusion a blast, next time I start a new game - you've convinced me.

I like that IF still does get updated, whereas Dylan's mod's last update was nearly 4 years ago. Only things that aren't that great is removing the health bar and ammo counter. You should try it, it's still being updated, it has tweaked damage enemies take even better than Dylan's mod, it's a lot more challenging since enemies do almost the same damage to you as you do to them on harder difficulties, weapons have much higher and more realistic recoil, all cars have had an increased top speed, and a lot more. Having said that, I have heard a lot of good things about Infamous Fusion as already mentioned. The next mod I am probably going to try after Redux is Infamous Fusion (also at Moddb). Gameplay feels fantastic and the game looks more cleaner, brighter and crispier.

It also slows down weapon degradation to a more realistic degree, as well as the need to take malaria medicine. Yes, just installed Redux myself, and it's great. No longer do guys in shorts and a t-shirt take half a magazine to kill one to two bullets are all that are needed with the mod.
